His first High School band "LONDON" performed at least a half a dozen songs by this legendary group in its band sets during the mid to late Seventies, when E.T. was a mere teenager!. September is the month of the Puyallup Fair, where a splendid time is guaranteed for all! They often bring in top notch bands to the grandstand, and this year is no exception! E.T. has already purchased tickets to one of his all time favorite bands THE ALLMAN BROTHERS who will perform on September 16th at 4pm. Even the Kings daughter LISA MARIE PRESLEY will be co-headlining a show with the B52's on Friday 09/20/03. She carries around a link to a lot of sentimental history! A must see for sure. Do enjoy!
THE EAGLES band came to "The White River Ampitheater" on 08/24/03. E.T. was lucky enough to catch this incredible show! As a result, your link this month takes us back in history to last years concert review by Professor Turnbow of this fantabulous band. Do check it out.!
In the summer of 2003 they opened up a new concert venue in Auburn WA, called The White River Amphitheater. E.T. was lucky enough to go and see three powerful shows there during the season. He was able to rock out with NEIL YOUNG and Crazy Horse, Fleetwood Mac, and The Eagles. This venue has a beautiful view of Mount Ranier and holds upwards of 20,000 people. Do go check out this website, and follow up by going to one the shows. You will love it!

you will find there is a thing to click to install the Cortona VRML (Virtual
Reality Modeling Language) plugin, that will let you browse all the cool 3D
websites. This (VRML) is the stuff that also works with those high tech glasses which
give a different view through each glass via electronic shutters synchronized
to your monitors output. Very cool, but you don't need them to see The VRML Repository, E.T.'s link of the month!
Paul McCartney is coming to town! On October 19th, 2002 he plays the Tacoma dome as part of his "Driving Rain" tour that features his new single "Freedom", a patriotic plea written for the 911 tragedy. E.T. has been lucky enough to catch him about every ten years or so. In the (now demolished) King dome in Seattle, he saw the "Wings Over America" Tour in 1976. In 1992 Paul came again for E.T. to witness on the world tour for the "Flowers in The Dirt" release. This concert series was documented on film by director Richard Lester, who also directed the classic Beatle movies "A Hard Days night" and" Help" under the title "Get Back". E.T. is anxious to see this legendary Beatle perform again, and would not miss it for the world.
E.T. has always been a big Seattle Seahawk Football fan. Well, the new season is upon us, so we have provided this link for you to stay up on the latest news, developments, and schedules! "Are you ready for some football"!
For August, E.T. has delivered the Official Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers Website. They have a new cd coming out next month called "Last DJ" with a tour to boot, which includes Jackson Brown, and Brian Setzer as opening acts! Mr. Petty is on E.T.'s short list of top five all time favorite artists. His music not only rocks, but relates to life's journey. E.T. saw him live 3 times to date, including one famous date with Bob Dylan on July 1st, 1986 in Tacoma at the Dome.
For July, sentimental E.T. has chosen a cool Star Trek Website that lists all the episodes in all five franchise series! Star Trek has has always been a Sci-Fi favorite for E.T., and he religiously watches old re-runs whenever possible! His favorite? Classic Star Trek of course, and the episode "City On The Edge Of Forever" of course! That young Joan Collins was quite the babe in the 60's. E.T. loves the humor and relationship between the anchor characters of Captain Kirk, Spock, and Dr. "Bones McCoy". These three icons make the show work, even 36 years after its creation!
E.T. has been a long time Star Trek fan! He watches the original series the most, and owns master copies of all the movies on vhs. It is a classic, and fascinating concept that never seems to lose its original inspiration. Here is database of episodes for all the Trekkers ands fans alike to engage! Beam me up Scottie! Look for the new movie to come out in December on the 13th.
For June I have chosen a Grateful Dead lyric site. They got back together recently in a family concert with all the original member's that are still on this plane. We miss Jerry Garcia, but his spirit is with us brother. Fantastic song writing, and oh yes, lets not forget Robert Hunter who wrote some very classic lyrics for the legendary band! -E.T.

He won last time, and also took home an academy award for his work on "Wonder Boys", starring Michael Douglass. On top of all that, Bob has just released dates for a two month European tour to start this spring ! He also has a publishing deal, reminiscing on his fine life and distinguished career, Mr. Dylan is a song writer song writer. A poet, who knows it, never blows it, and an inspiration to musicians, singers, and composers on a global scale!
E.T.'s mom, Jean Turnbow, is a big fan of astronomy pictures including galaxies, star formations, comets, and space related telescope pictures.
